South Korea on dog meat

 South Korea Has sucessfully passed a law to ban the dog meat trade

 

The main of the law is to ban slaughter and trade of dog meat in south korea by 2027 .

This is done to ban old traditional culture of south korea of selling dog meat.

"Raising and slaughter of dogs for consumption will lead to jail" according to this law of dog meat.

Those butchering dogs could face up to three years in prison, while those who raise dogs for meat or sell dog meat could serve a maximum of two years. However, the consumption of dog meat itself will not be illegal.
